Tequila Town Miami ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you join our VIP list or interact with tequilatownmia.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you sign up for the VIP list, we collect:

• Name — so we can personalize our communications
• Email address — to send VIP access codes, event invitations, and promotional offers
• Phone number (optional) — to send occasional SMS updates about exclusive events, if you choose to provide it

We also automatically collect limited technical data when you visit the site (IP address, browser type, referring page) via standard analytics. We do not use invasive tracking or fingerprinting.

How We Use Your Information

• To add you to the VIP list and send your 20% off code
• To notify you about events, room openings, tastings, and offers at Tequila Town Miami
• To respond to questions or feedback you send us
• To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

Who We Share With

We only share data with service providers who help us operate:

• Klaviyo — our email marketing platform
• Google Workspace — our business email infrastructure
• Cloudflare — website hosting and security

These providers are contractually bound to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

Email Communications & CAN-SPAM Compliance

Our commercial emails comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.). Specifically:

• Every email identifies Tequila Town Miami as the sender and uses accurate "From" and "Subject" headers
• Every email includes our valid physical postal address
• Every email contains a clear, one-click unsubscribe link that works for at least 30 days after the email is sent
• We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days and never sell or transfer unsubscribed email addresses
• Promotional emails are clearly identified as advertising

SMS Consent & Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA)

By submitting your phone number, you provide prior express written consent under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.059) to receive promotional text messages from Tequila Town Miami, including messages sent via automated technology.

• Message frequency: no more than 4 messages per month
• Message and data rates from your carrier may apply
• Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe (free of charge)
• Reply HELP for customer service
• Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase
• Permitted sending hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM local time, as required by Florida law

Florida Residents — Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR)

If you are a Florida consumer, you have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. § 501.71 et seq.), including:

• The right to correct inaccurate personal data
• The right to request deletion of your personal data
• The right to a copy of your personal data in a portable format
• The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data (we do not sell or share)

To exercise any FDBR right, email info@tequilatownmia.com with the subject "Florida Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days as required by law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if denied on appeal, you may contact the Florida Department of Legal Affairs.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we have about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails (every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link)
• Opt out of SMS messages (reply STOP)

Residents of California (CCPA), the European Union (GDPR), and similar jurisdictions have additional rights including the right to know what we've collected, to request a copy, and to opt out of any "sale" of personal information. We do not sell information, but we honor all requests.

Data Retention

We keep your VIP list information until you ask us to remove it. Unsubscribing from emails will stop communications; emailing us at the address above will remove your data entirely.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, encrypted storage) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access.

Children

Tequila Town Miami is a 21+ venue. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and our VIP list is not directed at minors.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated via email to active VIP list members.
